Yarn
Our selection of yarn is thoughtfully chosen to give a wide variety of options. Larger companies are chosen for their social responsibility ethos or environmentally friendly practices. We choose independent dyers and small companies that we want to build up, who make incredible yarn, and who come from a variety of backgrounds. Most of them we will only order from once, hoping that if you love their yarns you will order direct from them in the future.
Rescued Yarn
Rescued yarns have been purchased by someone, taken home, and never used. We get these sad lonely skeins from a variety of sources and price them lower than regular retail prices. This helps get them into the hands of people who will use them, and makes good quality yarn more affordable.
If you have lonely skeins that would be a good fit for our rescued yarn section please let us know!
All rescued yarn is frozen twice to reduce the risk of pests.
Tools
Since we have limited square footage we try to make very strategic choices in the tools we carry. Interchangeable needles fill this need well for us. We also have a small (but growing!) selection of crochet hooks and Tunisian crochet hooks. Don’t forget to check our rescue section for needles and hooks too!

Pottery
Most of the pottery we have is rescued pottery, found in a variety of places and offered for your enjoyment. We also carry tea bowls made by local potter Tim Steele.
Gifts
As a knitter, I appreciate it when yarn shops carry items that my non-knitter friends and family members might enjoy. We have a small but fantastic selection of stickers, greeting cards, art prints, and candles, as well as pottery and art.

Art
Many of our customers are surprised to find out that all of the art in our store is for sale. Some of it is rescued art, found in a variety of places and priced to make owning original art something that everyone can afford. Some of it is new art by artists we know and admire. We’ll be participating in the Corvallis Arts Walk so plan to stop in and see what new art we have on the wall!
